Fear of the dark | Development

Fear of the dark:

 I represented the fear of the dark by placing my model in a dark room with just a torch lighting up her face. 

Raw photographs: 

For these photographs I used the studio, with a black backdrop and all the lights of. We used a torch to create a bit of light to show my models face. This represents the fear of being in darkness. I got my model to act scared and frightened. The composition of this photograph represents the fear of darkness because there is the right amount of light around my model without taking away the blackness of having the lights off.

Edited photograph:

I used Photoshop to make the image darker; I did this because I only wanted a small section to have light shine on to it. I think that by doing this it has added more depth and texture to the photograph.
