I wanted to represent a fear of talking to people, so I used black eyeliner to make it look like my models lips were sewn together.
I got my model to look like she was struggling to talk by almost biting her own lips and bringing them together. For theses set of photographs I placed my model in the middle so the focus was on her, I also got her to look at the camera to show that she was trying to talk but couldn't because her fear was stopping her to do so. I also got her to try posing with her eyes shut to show that she has given up trying and that it portrays that her fear has taken over and won. To make the photographs less distracting I got my model to have bare shoulders and have her hair up. This makes the focus on my models lips.
