Fear Of Loosing Childhood | Development

Fear: Of loosing her childhood. My model has clown makeup on to represent how she feels inside. How she feels like a clown because she is funny and always making jokes. She also fears that she will lose her childhood. My model doesn't want to lose her memories of being a child and how she used to be. She doesn't want the pressures of real life to overcome her memories and childhood.
I used a pink gel over the top of the soft box studio lights. This created a pink low around my model. I like the composition of this photograph because it's close up and the angle of her faces creates different lines and contours the photo. With having my models eyes looking away from the camera creates a mood that she may be scared or that she feels trapped and this photograph represents that. When I use different coloured gels, they always make my photograph too dark but I like the way it gives sort of a natural glow to the image.

The lighting in this photograph makes the bright makeup stand out more, showing that my model may feel more confident compered to the dark side of her face. Again I really like the fact that my model is looking away from the camera, and the composition of this photograph creates a different edge with her being the middle but focusing on something to the left.
