For these photographs I am trying to represent the fear of intimacy. I got a lip shape balloon as a prop and I also used makeup to add lipstick kisses on my model. Whilst taking these photographs I got my model to try and look awkward and uncomfortable.
I
used a lip balloon as a prop for my photographs because I think it gives the
photograph more depth and colour. The lip balloon also emphasises the meaning
behind these images. The lips represent the fear of intimacy (fear of being
kissed) and these images portray that. I got my model to wear a shirt like top
with the top button done up, to show that he is quite awkward and nerdy. The compositions
of these photographs are intimate and close up which also enforces the meaning
of these photographs.
